BA Club

Here we sit in the British Airways Club (hold on, I'm thirsty, be right back). OK, that's better. I don't know how the flight will be, but I am darn sure that this 3rd Jack and Diet will make it even better.

Karen's here now: The wee British tea sandwiches are delicious. I just polished off my second grilled chicken salad. They're small, so it's ok. I also ate one with asparagus and roasted tomatoes and a curried shrimp salad. Keep in mind, this is just off the "snack bar." They are setting up the dinner bar now. There is also a full bar. High end liquors, chilled beer, mixers and garnishes (Eric is taking a photo to illustrate). I said to Eric that I wondered if back when the airlines were flush if there would have been a bartender to mix a drink for me rather than me having to do all the pouring myself. It's exhausting.

Eric again. I tried the Hot Ham with Roasted Sweet Pepper and the Asparagus with Brie and Roasted Tomatoes. The asparagus is preferable, although both are tasty. I also snacked on some hummus and pita. This is all just the lead-up to dinner, or, BA Club dinner. I expect they'll feed me on the plane if I am still conscious.
